Three Little Birds Counseling
Three Little Birds
Counseling and Expressive Therapy Studio, PLLC
If you are here then it probably means you are looking for support. It is not easy putting yourself first, but starting therapy is a good first step. Today is a new day. At Three Little Birds we will walk together as you identify and explore barriers, create healthy lifestyles, and discover what makes you YOU.
Taking the first step into your own wellness can feel exciting and scary at the same time. Maybe you are feeling overwhelmed with life expectations or struggling to connect with loved ones. Maybe you have felt the vast depth the pandemic has had on our everyday lives and finding a new normal has been hard to do alone. Have you felt more down or isolated lately? More sad or feeling out of control with your emotions and reactions?
Maybe you are feeling exhausted with the stressors of everyday life or starting a new journey. Maybe you are a new parent struggling to connect with parenthood and questioning if it's just the "baby blues" of the fourth trimester or something more like postpartum depression or anxiety.
Maybe you are feeling overwhelmed with starting college or a new job and meeting new people is daunting. Or maybe there has been a sudden change or loss in your life. People engage in therapy for all different reasons. Some need a place that is their own to let out emotions, others use it to process life events or to empower ones own narrative.
Whatever your reason, you are welcome here. At Three Little Birds we will focus on today. Often we can get bogged down with shame, worry about the future, or regret for events in our past. We will practice self-love and gratitude to allow ourselves to let go and just be. When we can focus on the present without pretense or judgement we are happier and healthy.

About me
Welcome! I am glad you are here. I have always been passionate about supporting others. I have a Master's Degree from Lesley University in Expressive Therapy and Mental Health Counseling and am licensed to practice in New Hampshire, Vermont and Massachusetts, and am a certified Perinatal Mental Health Counselor. I also hold a certificate in Trauma Studies. Prior to opening Three Little Birds I had a private practice in Lexington, MA and worked in community mental health settings around Boston. When I'm not at Three Little Birds, I enjoy spending time with my family and dog, hiking, painting and exercising.
While I have enjoyed working with populations across the lifespan, I have found that I most enjoy working with young adult women and mothers. I have extensive experience working with college age and adult women helping them with anxiety, depression or dealing with the stress of life transitions and change. I can offer you a warm atmosphere to explore barriers and find ways to make each day be what you want it to be. I can offer you space to express how you feel and what you need. We will work together to identify goals and create avenues for healthy change. I enjoy incorporating mindfulness, cognitive-behavioral therapy, and expressive arts therapy into the work. I will support you to approach stressors by building off your strengths. If we recognize how far we have come, we can start to see a clearer path ahead of us. My hope is for you to feel empowered and in control of your life even at times of uncertainty.
It is important to transform therapy into what you need rather than what a therapist thinks you need. I pride myself on being a reflective lens to view negative thought patterns or behaviors that are impacting you. Treatment will look different for everyone that walks though my door but I will always offer compassion and empathy as you sift through what you need.
Services
Individual Therapy
All sessions are online (telehealth) through a HIPPA compliant video platform. A typical session will look different for everyone. The foundation for the session will be based in humanistic and person centered approaches. We will take time to create the space to be comfortable for you to explore what you need and use your strengths to create coping strategies.
Fees and Insurance
I accept United and Harvard Pilgrim insurance plans. If I do not accept your insurance I can provide a receipt for you to submit to your own insurance companies for possible reimbursement depending on your plan.
If paying out of pocket my rates are $200 for intake session and $175 for all individual sessions thereafter. Sessions are approximately 50 minutes.
I am licensed to practice and meet with clients that reside in New Hampshire, Vermont and Massachusetts.
